About Me
I've Moved! Check out my new website www.AerFit.ca See you there!Grew up in Eastern Canada, and currently living, training, and working in Toronto. I've been an Aerialist since 2012, but a mover my whole life. Since high school I have been passionate about dance, theatre, performing arts, and movement of any kind. I primarily train on aerial silks, but have dabbled in static trapeze, lyra, and pole fitness.
I am trying to prove that you don't need to be a former gymnast, professional dancer, or have trained in circus/contortion your entire life to make real progress in this art form. I love circus, and especially aerial arts as it is accessible for everybody and every body. I have seen beautiful aerialists who happen to have physical disabilities. Iv'e seen circus do amazing things for at-risk youth, especially LGBTQIA youth. You can be of any shape, size, or ethnicity and circus will welcome you with open arms.
I have experience coaching all ages ranging from very young children to middle aged adults. I have come a very long way in a short period and have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in aerial dance however I still have a very long way to go and I know I will always be growing, learning, changing, adapting, and getting stronger.
I am currently coaching once a week at Cirque-Ability in Toronto. I am really interested in ROM conditioning and will be studying/researching, and writing a lot about that on this blog. Please follow, share, and leave feedback so I can keep making this site better!
